Welcome!
Note : November 2016 - We currently have no rats available for adoption & no planned litters. When we breed again it will be dwarfs. Thank you, please enjoy the health information on these pages.
We are a small rattery located in Mira Loma, California. We mostly breed for our own family & only have a few litters per year. We have obtained all our rats from other breeders & have show rats in our lines although we have chosen not to do the rat shows ourselves. Our rats are handled daily by our children of various ages & have demonstrated sweet & friendly temperments. We disclose all known health info about litters & have a page dedicated to our past rattie friends for our children's memories & for potential adopters to see what our rats have passed from in order to help them decide whether or not to adopt from us. We will ALWAYS take back any rat (s) you adopt from us that don't work out for whatever reason.
Feel free to email with any questions you might have & we will do our best to answer them or direct you to another web site for the information (see the links page for more rat info & ratteries).

Our rats' living quarters
We have cages by Critter Nation, Petsmart, Marchioro & Coast Cages. We use aspen bedding from Newco that I purchase from Buzzard House in Mira Loma. I prefer the Lixit Critter Pods over hammocks because rats chew the hammock strings that attach to the cages & then they fall, plus they have to washed more frequently & retain odor. Rats in hammocks look cute & comfy, this is just our personal preference with multiple cages to maintain. I have made modifications to all our cages to work for us. The Critter Nation I added plexiglass pieces cable tied on to help prevent stuff falling out thru the bars onto the floor. The plastic cages I have added cable ties to the corners & shelves as needed to keep them from coming apart when being washed. I like these Super Pet wheels but they need to have olive oil added to keep them from squeaking. The Silent Spinner wheels kept breaking where they attached to the cages & were harder to keep clean
